Public bug reported: My sound doesn't work on a NEC Versa FXi. I have tried everything listed here http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=412201 and have the same results (see the end of this report for a quoting). I have tried adding snd_ens1371 to both the /etc/modules and to /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist (why not?) as well, but they didn't work either.

I've checked the alsamixer and turned every channel on and up. Still no sound.
