apport information

** Tags added: apport-collected oneiric running-unity ubuntu

** Description changed:

I started with Ubuntu 11.10 alpha3, and have been upgrading daily since.
About 1.5 weeks ago, I rebooted after an update and was logged into
Unity 2D. Unity 3D is no longer an option for me. How can I debug this?

  I'm running a fully updated 11.10 installation on a Lenovo X1 laptop.
