All files you sent do not show any problems. The error_log contains a
job of printing the test page and all filtering and rendering was
performed correctly. The file from comment #5 shows that your editor
converted the plain text file correctly to PDF (I have displayed it with
evince).

This means that the problem most probably is that the output data stream
got not understood by the printer. This is a problem of Gutenprint, the
driver used here. This is an upstream bug of Gutenprint. Please report
it on http://gutenprint.sf.net/.
