I've referred to this bug in bug #851575, and I think the solution proposed
there should work for this bug.
I believe the purchase notification processor should:
- Allow the nagios checker to notice when something went wrong in a run (not
only if the processor is still running)
- Attempt to continue payments that were left in an intermediate state by a
previous run.
