My bad, the bug wasn't fixed.

To reproduce, just erase the "ver" file from one snapshot. and launch 
simple-restore-gnome. 
What has been done was to pass the error silently in upgrade_backup.py

The fix will be to erase every snapshot that doesn't contain the "ver"
file . The existance of this file , in the new version, shows that a
backup is complete. Otherwise  the snapshot is not and should be delete.
