I have a FREAKISHLY similar hardware setup (have we been reading the same posts? ;) ) and have experienced the exact same thing as of last night. I've been surfing launchpad all day and have come across the same problem/solution. The one weird thing was it took about a week for the problem to pop up for me, how long did it take for you? It also seems to be getting progressively worse.
Refer to this bug for instructions on downloading the stable marvell driver: 83009 Look for the instructions from "Andreas Simon" on how to download and install.
