could you install the commandline client and do

gphoto2 --debug --debug-logfile=xx.log -L

write down the number of the .MOV file where it crashes...

and then
gphoto2 -t <nr>   --debug --debug-logfile=xx2.log
with <nr> above nr of the .MOV file that crashes?
