The crash occurs once per login session. I did the following, based on old bug reports: % zeitgeist_daemon --quit % cd $HOME/.local/share/zeitgeist % mv fts.index fts.index.bak Logout Login Wait
This seems to be a work around. With a bit of assistance, I should be able to tear apart the indices in fts.index (good) and fts.index (bad). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/841878 Title: zeitgeist-daemon crashed with DatabaseCorruptError in _check_index_and_start_worker(): Data ran out unexpectedly when reading posting list.
