I have the same problem, I think. I'll just be using my laptop, and suddenly everything is slow, like I don't have a lot of memory. I check my processes and see that indicator-daytime-service is using 20%-60% of my CPU. Ending the process fixes it, and then the process just re- spawns. After it re-spawns, it does not use any of my CPU at all, it just sits there, invisibly... like it should.
I also upgraded to Oneiric from Natty. Currently I am using Beta 2. I am willing to provide further assistance if needed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/858060 Title: indicator-daytime-service use a lot of cpu and ram To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/858060/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
