thanks for the new driver, seems to work. i can save the xorg.conf now. but strange is: every time i alter the settings to "seperate X screen" and restart the X server, it won't let me log in, stating that my username and/or password are wrong (lets me log on the console as normal though). after i copied back the xorg.conf and restart the X server, everythings turns normal again. maybe i should post this somewhere else but thats what i got after updating the nvidia-glx-new driver and set the displays to "seperate X screen". any idea/hint for me?
