It is a Sony VPCEH1Z1E for me with Ubuntu 11.04

↳ PS/2 Mouse id=14 [slave pointer (2)]
↳ AlpsPS/2 ALPS GlidePoint id=15 [slave pointer (2)]
xinput test "PS/2 Mouse" generates input (when I'm using tuochpad)
xinput test "AlpsPS/2 ALPS GlidePoint" generates NO input
I'm looking forward to the solution ;-)
