Hi,
I also have the XPS 15z running Oneiric, it's got a lovely big touchpad, but because it's so big it's hard not to accidentally touch as you type! That is very annoying. So wile forcing the psmouse kernel module into a "fail safe" mode does make it work, we still need to be able to get it properly recognised as a touhpad to allow us to set "disable touchpad while typeing". Not to mention, this a multitouch touchpad :) How can we move forward with this? The kernel.org bug tracker is offline :( Any suggestions?
