Public bug reported:
specific caracters that are 2 keys combinasons like 'ê' or 'ë' don't work in
kde apps (I recently discovered it doesn't work in pure qt apps like opera or
speedcrunch too), resulting '^e' or 'e'.
I don't have this issue in a tty or gnome application.
