Hi Julien!
The .dmrc file you show has not been created by GDM in Oneiric, but
probably in Natty. Actually I don't think that GDM 3 cares about ~/.dmrc
at all, and I doubt that the behavior you mention has anything to do
with that file.
You can easily test my theory by removing ~/.dmrc and see if it makes a
difference.
I suspect another cause of the behavior; an adjustment in lxdm may be
needed to make it compatible with how language-selector sets the
language.
