Running 11.04. Not sure when this occurred. My wife had been having a problem with the keyboard: the numeric keypad was not recording a character ( YES, the NUM lock was on ). This did NOT happen on my own account.
Flailing about at the problem, I selected autokey and changed from default (sysadmin setting) to "ibus." Logged out and back in. The operation appeared to be a success -- the numeric pad was working in her account. Logged out, and back into my own account. Failure occurred somewhere in that sequence. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/733910 Title: autokey crashed with IOError in readMetadata(): [Errno 22] Invalid argument To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/autokey/+bug/733910/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
