that still needs support from the driver and server. xorg-server 1.3
provides that, and the new intel-2.0.0 driver is the first (and, so far,
the only) driver which supports xrandr 1.2.
that said, the new xrandr will land in ubuntu when the xbase-clients
split-up is done in debian.
