The pertinent section of my .xsession-errors file: /usr/lib/nux/unity_support_test: error while loading shared libraries: libGL.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory gnome-session[6304]: WARNING: Session 'ubuntu' runnable check failed: Exited with code 127 unity-2d-panel: error while loading shared libraries: libGL.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory unity-2d-launcher: error while loading shared libraries: libGL.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
libGL.so.1 exists in /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/mesa/ and is a symlink to libGL.so.1.2 Given all the library errors getting thrown around, I've run and attached the output of ldconfig -p. None of the libraries that Unity is complaining about are listed!!! Will investigate further. ** Attachment added: "Output of ldconfig -p" https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/851864/+attachment/2510781/+files/ldconfig -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/851864 Title: Unity shell crashes on login To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/851864/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
