Thanks for all these email for a possible solution for a problem i
had. But i can not test anymore on my system if it would work. You are
right it probably had to do with the graphics card i had (ATI Radeon
9550) ... Since a few weeks i have build a new computer for myself,
and because i always had trouble with DRI  in Linux i bought me a
Nvidia Card. Since this i have no trouble at all anymore with
multimedia and GL
