Public bug reported:

Since switching to oneiric vi completion is awful. If I am in my home
directory then vi followed by tab will not list a single file, even if I
type part of a filename (eg no for nohup.out). Similarly it won't do
anything for 'vi /etc/fs<TAB>' which should complete to /etc/fstab. I
just get beeps.
