Fair enough. This is still not something we want to fix on the apport
side. If you have newer binaries than what's in Ubuntu, then these are
probably not Ubuntu packages either? And even if they are, and you got
the newer version via some manual "dpkg -i" straight from Launchpad
etc., we don't want to run a full "apt-get update" each time we are
about to file a bug report. That would take ages and punish the majority
of use cases.
