According to comment #4 it looks like that in your printer only a USB mass storage device is recognized, but not the printing function.
Does you printer have a memory card reader? Does the card reader work? Are you using the printer also with Windows or Mac OS X? Does it need a driver CD to get set up on that operating systems?
