Running synaptic 0.70
1) Remove a package that will leave residual config:
- I used Thunderbird
- only select "Mark for Removal"
2) Look in the section Status, and select "Not Installed (residual config)"
3) Select the Thunderbird (or whatever you used) package and select "Mark for
Complete Removal"
The Apply button is still greyed out and non-responsive!
