I guess you meant that they are not quarantined either. But this seems
to be the case, the "marked-but-delivered" mails are written to the
virusmail folder.

Since the mails are written to the virusmail folder it is indeed
possible to "release" them (deliver them again without the spam
subject tag) when my patch is applied.
