The test with "ubuntu-distro-info --all" revealed following: On my notebook the Haskell script needs 5.77 ms and the Python script 47.0 ms (hot cache) and 99 ms (cold cache). This gives me factor 8 (hot cache) and factor 17 (cold cache) speed improvements.
