If modprobe'ing rt2800usb and writing "0411 01ee" to /sys/bus/usb/drivers/rt2800usb/new_id makes it work, a kernel with CONFIG_RT2X00_DEBUG should provide additional information about the chip.
Note that current Oneiric kernels are built with # CONFIG_RT2800USB_RT35XX is not set # CONFIG_RT2800USB_RT53XX is not set so there's some chips that the driver doesn't support yet. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/871904 Title: [0411:01ee Buffalo WLI-UC-GNM2] is not recognized as wlan To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/871904/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
