Hi Luke - my disassembly simply pointed to the source line that caused
the crash. However, we still don't know why the "source" object is NULL
(it should never be apparently). What we really need is a full core dump
to analyze but since I am unable to recreate the problem I'd like to
invite anyone who can reliably reproduce this issue to help use
understand the actual cause.

AFAIK, the bug is still there, but enabling debug seems to be masking
the problem.
