let me start from begining when i used Dapper i was quite happy very little
bugs only few problems some times the session crashed and i could do
ctrl+alt+bckspace and restore things,iam a little tinker.after that i wanted to
try edgy i Downloaded&burned the iso ,when booted of it,the boot process was
too slow after a while system booted then all i did was install but later, the
system never let me in,i thought edgy isnt stable.then came feisty i really
expected a lot of it,same problem with it downloaded and burned iso thought i
had bad burned,now i got those shipped cds(ubuntu,kubuntu) usual boot of it?
guess what same problem of edgy.
The boot process is crap hell even dapper was good at it,i dont see any boot
screen/logo,the system completes after 8-10 min then i got graphics all
jumbled,also same with kubuntu.
when i install the system its too slow takes more time,after installation the
system shows grub,after selecting ubuntu the system shows a some operation
completed then a "LONG LONG blank screen of hell".i dont get into system nor
anywhere else.help me out i bought this intel 845gvsr mobo based pc with no
extra graphics card,its onboard gcard,decent monitor and P4 2.8 gig 533 fsb,lg
monitor 17",80 gig hdd,768 Ram,sony dvd drive,all the decent stuff works fine
on windows xp.my pc is 4 years old.
Thanks if you can support more hardware new and old.still my old realtek
ethernet modem is undetected.
