The patch that Peter pointed out in comment #8 looks similar to the following upstream fix:
commit 777eb1bf15b8532c396821774bf6451e563438f5 Author: Hannes Reinecke <[email protected]> Date: Wed Sep 28 08:07:01 2011 -0600 block: Free queue resources at blk_release_queue() This upstream fix was subsequently also released in the upstream v3.0.5 stable update. We've already queued the patches from from the v3.0.5 and v3.0.6 stable updates to our Oneiric git repo. However, due to fact that Oneiric is set to release in 2 days, these patches have been queued for our first Oneiric SRU. I'll get a test kernel available for testing in the mean time. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/854257 Title: device-mapper oops during failover, all I/O hangs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/oem-priority/+bug/854257/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
