I cannot reproduce this bug at all. I have tried to print with evince
and to maually convert with both pdftops (Poppler) and pdf2ps
(Ghostscript). Nothing hangs and printouts are correct, on both Natty
and Oneiric (Oneiric release today).
Have you all updates installed?
I have tested on amd64 which also seems to be your system's
architecture.
