@mpt I think it's simpler to be consistent if we follow the GNOME 2 HIG and don't show ellipses for Preferences/Settings. A decent amount of the time I open a Settings window is just to look around and see what the current configuration is. Having the extra ellipses dilutes their effect if too many items have it.
