I'm also affected by this bug, as well as some other people here:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1855126

Using Natty my system used to drain ~11W while web browsing, and lowered
to ~9W if I were doing nothing. All this without the need of any tweak
(apart switching off the discrete video card.. i'm on a hybrid graphic
system).

Now on Oneiric, with the same settings (discrete card switched off) it
drains ~17W, lowering to ~15W if I'm really doing nothing.

Applying some additional tweaks as described here
(http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=11337515&postcount=25) I've improved a
little bit my situation, and now it drains 13 to 15W. But It's still much
higher than Natty.. (and in Natty I had not applied any tweak.. so maybe I
could do something better!).

I tried to collect informations with the command provided in comment #1 but it
says that I cannot run that command because I'm not the original reporter of
the bug, so I guess I have to collect logs manually, isn't it?

What logs do you need?
