Hello,
I've got the same problem.
If i do a sudo -u postgres psql template1 i get
"psql: could not connect to server: Bestand of map bestaat niet
Is the server running locally and accepting
connections on Unix domain socket "/var/run/postgresql/.s.PGSQL.5432"?"
It looks like the server is not running, but I don't succeed in making
it run :-(
