i did some further reading and apparently wireless fails at life during the upgrade process honestly that doesnt suprise me considering you have to be on wired during a fresh install, This upgrade to 11.10 totaly crashed my system so bad that i had to do a fresh install i had other problems as well even after i went to wired im suspecting that my amd propietary driver was the main proplem causeing it not to boot into x. and anothter item for modprobe i supose i should have replaced the networking file as well when it offered but owell my 3 others will not see this upgrade anytime soon.
