*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 57153 ***

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-core

I have an Nvidia 6800 pci GPU that was not detected correctly after an
upgrade from version 1:1.0.2-0ubuntu10 to version 1:1.0.2-0ubuntu10.3,
meaning that I could not start X. I downgraded it and it is okay. I
surmise the problem might be related to the following change from the
Changelog:

xorg-server (1:1.0.2-0ubuntu10.2) dapper-updates; urgency=low

  * Added 005_pci_domain.dpatch (Closes Malone #54880)

Because much of the pci detection of the GPU in Xorg.0.log was missing
after the upgrade.

Unfortunately the log from the failed session is now overwritten, but if
you think you'll need a diff between the logs of the two sessions, then
please let me know and I'll provide it.

** Affects: xorg-server (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
