I encountered this bug after removing a reference to the UbuntuBeta Mono font from my .emacs file, and then removing the font(s) from my system. There is some other place where the font is being referenced, and I couldn't track it down after looking through dozens of files, including some compiled .elc files.
Reinstating the font is a workaround, not a fix. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/544263 Title: emacs doesn't launch because of Font `-*-terminus- medium-*-*-*-17-120-*-*-*-*-iso10646-1' is not defined To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/emacs23/+bug/544263/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
