Walter, I had quite a few files in that directory: /var/log/dist-upgrade/ ├── [ 4096] 20111014-2022 │ ├── [ 39094] apt.log │ ├── [ 1321224] apt-term.log │ ├── [ 79425] history.log │ ├── [ 49085] main.log │ ├── [ 503268] term.log │ └── [ 847] xorg_fixup.log ├── [ 4096] 20111014-2026 │ ├── [ 53916] apt.log │ ├── [ 9575] main.log │ └── [ 0] term.log ├── [ 507933] apt-clone_system_state.tar.gz ├── [ 53879] apt.log ├── [ 2660] lspci.txt ├── [ 9748] main.log └── [ 0] term.log
I actually ran the install a second time shortly after. It seems that the logging for my second attempt (which still showed the same issue) is in the 20111014-2026 folder, so I have attached those two non-zero size files -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/874646 Title: Upgrade to 11.10 says I cannot proceed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/874646/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
