On a Dell Studio and just upgraded from Ubuntu 11.04 to 11.10... Had perfect, strong wi-fi connection with 11.04 at a moderate distance from router...
On upgrade to 11.10, connection strength shows as very weak at same distance from router and keeps disconnecting automatically every few minutes...
