Public bug reported:
Ubuntu 11.10 freezes on boot, before login screen. Lot's of text appearing,
all however marked ok. Last line appearing states ="Starting TiMidity++ ALSA
midi emulation [OK].
I've been running 11.04 without problems and just upgraded.
