Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: hal

After uprading to hal version 0.5.9-1ubuntu2~feisty1 from the feisty-backports,
hal hangs when started, which prevents the system to finish the boot process.
Only after killing hald manually, the boot process resumes.
When I start hald manually by "hald --daemon=no --verbose=yes", the message
"device_info.c:969: Unhandled rule (0)!" is being repeated indefinitely.

** Affects: hal (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
