Hi Hugh, from the output I see what you mean about it detecting the DVD
as only 20 sec long. Thanks for including lsdvd -x output, that usually
provides adequately detailed information, although it seems not to have
revealed any useful error messages or warnings in this case.
There have been changes in libdvdread since the version you tested,
although none of those changes look to me like something that would fix
this issue. However, who knows; the issue may be caused by something
else in the system. Would you mind terribly re-testing to reproduce
this bug on oneiric?
Also, if you don't mind doing a bit more experimentation, it would be
great if you could try accessing/ripping/playing/etc. the disk in
various ways on various hardware to see if you can find something that
gives an interesting error or warning, that could give clues as to
what's going on.
Googling on DVDDESIGN24_DE doesn't give anything useful about what the
DVD is - you might elaborate on what the DVD is, what's supposed to be
on it, etc.
