Hi,
thanks for the report,
it's unfortunately not matter of simply moving the directory of the gedit
plugin.
It's the plugin that's completely outdated, I just uploaded it into debian, but
not in time for Oneiric.
If you want to help please give a try to the debian package (install it through
dpkg, gdebi, or whatever...) and report to me (even privately).
