Canon packages specify a *versioned* dependency on libcupsys2. As far as I can 
understand, the virtual package "libcupsys2" provided by libcups2 does not 
support versioned dependencies.
A number of Canon printer drivers, who knows how large, are still not 
installable in Ubuntu without manually editing the control file or downloading 
a transitional deb from random web sites.
Can this bug be reopened?
