Public bug reported:

Samsung N145 Plus Netbook
At first, Touchpad was correctly detected as Name="ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad"
then it failed for no apparent reason. This occurred whether booting from the
hard-drive or from a live-CD. Resetting the bios to defaults reactivated the
touchpad on the first two occasion, then it failed again and will no longer
reset. Will attach more information.
