Python-Scientific NetCDF used PyMem_DEL instead of PyObject_DEL to deallocate 
memory of an object created with PyObject_NEW.
Python 2.4 used to catch that error and automatically correct it. Python 2.5 
has removed this behaviour.

I ask you to test this patch and to let me know if it solved the problem.
