I had another system with the same upgrade problem. The apt log showed it failed on the nspluginwrapper:i386. I uninstalled the nspluginwapper. The upgrade to 11.10 when without a problem. Everything seems to be working fine. The original system I reported this problem against seems to have a hardware problem which accounts for the other strange stuff.
I don't know whether the nspluginwapper upgrade problem I had is a bug or not. The work around is simply remove it, do the upgrade, provide you don't have a hardware problem, -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/874625 Title: Update from 11.04 to 11.10 fails To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/874625/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
