Well, thankyou for attention: I'm afraid I cannot (although I would love to)
as I no longer have the distro/hardware combiniation. I had a Pentium 4 with
512 MB RAM, and Nvidia GeForce FX 5200, (superseding Intel graphics chipset
built-in).

I have a feeling the major bug is that the Intel card is not being
superseded properly; I had blacklisted it via modprobe.d, but 'intel_agp'
still showed in "lsmod". E.g the Nvidia card is providing 3d, but not to the
desktop. I am currently running Lubuntu, if you wish I can provide any other
script outputs/information relating to that. It is not a major bug, I have a
feeling that the hardware will be out-of date shortly, therefore I would not
worry too much.

If it does turn out to be a major issue I would be happy to run 11.04/10
temporarily before I turn it into a server CLI. (new laptop, y'see [?] )

Feel free to subscribe me to whatever bug mail you like, the more I read,
the more I learn.

Michael.
