Here are my comments :
the attached file is an abstract of a Word document (I
suppose Word 2003), saved under Windows by Open Office
2.2 (which works perfectly well).
When I try to open it with Open Office 2.2 under
Kubuntu Feisty, just after the logo, there is a
message box "open office has brutally stopped because
of an unexpected error. The following files will be
recovered at the next start (name of the file). But it
says, when trying to re-start : recovery non achieved.
I have tried to follow the procedures of
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace,
but, when I type
(gdb) run (or run -writer OOO-test2.odt, or run
ooffice, etc...), it says something like "not in
executable format: File format not recognized".
When I type at the prompt :
ooffice -writer OOO-test2.odt,
the programm starts (and the bug occurs), but there
are some error codes displayed :

I have checked that these error codes are also
displayed when I just launch : ooffice -writer,
but not when I open another file.
Excuse me for being so laborious, this is a little bit
beyond my knowledge of beginner in linux (just 4
mounths).
