I have a Mach Speed Trio V430 portable media player that is not visible
in Ubuntu 11.04. I believe the media player was visible in previous
editions of Ubuntu. The manufacturer's website states the player works
with Linux kernel 2.4. I have not seen a situation in which a device can
be connected the the computer and the computer does not acknowledge the
existence of the device.
