Public bug reported:

Application menus list various program names, which are generally very
cryptic and completely non-contextual, and then in parentheses a
descriptive term for that program.  This makes navigating menus more
tedious than it has to since it makes them difficult to read.  I would
much prefer the descriptive name first with the actual application name
in parenthesis.  This is essential  to make users new to linux
comfortable.
