This is something that I noticed after upgrading to Oneiric from Natty.
When doing something demanding on my wireless adapter (Netgear WG111v2)
such as leaving files downloading or viewing videos on youtube, the data
rate slows down to a crawl. This will then remain at this speed and the
only way to temporarily resolve the issue is to unplug the adapter and
then plug it back in.
